Well, my little meeting with the doctor was just that-- little. I think the actual meeting was less than ten minutes. He explained the procedure which was pretty straightforward, though the after-treatment was a little surprising: I'll be wearing an earpatch.

Basically it's a clamp that I'll be wearing on my earlobe for a couple of months. And there are the injections-- seems I can't get away from needles these days.

It does indicate that I should probably not consider any future piercings or tattoos.

Huh.
